Hello, there is no single player campaign. The complete world is open for all :) But you can play ESO alone or with other people. Only for specifc things you need maybe help. Like for some world bosses or the group activites like 4 player group Dungeons or Trials for 12 People. Beside of that you can easily play ESO alone and enjoy your time.

Actually there is a single player campaign, the main quest line is all solo until you reach the last stage in ColdHarbor. I think all the quest lines in each Alliance and the main quest are good and quite well writen story lines but then I'm a 98% solo player and enjoy doing the quests.

Thanks, I guess I meant to ask is "solo/quest" play any good :-)

Yes it is fine to play alone:) You have a huge land to explore with many quests :) Only for some bosses you need maybe help but you can just wait for other people to show up and fight with them together :) Beside of that you can do more or less all alone :)

I also enjoy just exploring and running around everywhere looking for hidden chests and farming all the crafting items. I go everywhere, climb every mountain and explore every bit of accessable land. Most of the best items come from chests you find, as well as dungeon bosses.

If you play solo why would you play this rather than Skyrim or say Witcher 3, genuinly interested before i start investing time...

I have played both of those games extensively, and loved them very much. This is the first MMO, that I have ever played. What I enjoy about this game, is the diversity. You can go questing solo, you can dabble with PVP, you can go crazy in dungeon delving, you can harvest items and sell them in a guild store, you can group with other players and do group quests, you can converse with a stranger, you can craft, you can purchase a home, make the furnishings, and decorate. The list goes on and on and on. I have never been bored in this game. There is soooo much to do and see. Don't limit yourself to just one thing. Do it all, but all in good time.

I like that I can join human guilds and chat with other people, craft and sell armor and potions, etc. This game has all the features that I think the single player Elder Scrolls games are lacking. I've played a lot of other MMOs and really got turned off with the whole grouping scene. Trying to hook up with reliable players and then the a-holes that demand you wear the best gear and fight a certain way or they kick you from the group just turned me off. Everything except the more than 4 person dungeons and world bosses can be soloed if you are careful. Word of advice for soloing, turn on the ui feature that shows the target health hp in the target bar and pay attention to how many little squares are on each end of it. When you see scroll works on each end of the targets hp bar it means they are probably ment for a group to attack so just ask for help in the zone chat and you will usually get a few people to join you.

You don`t have to play alone but you can do that. Of course it can be more fun when you enjoy your time with friends as always:) I played already Sykrim and Witcher 3 and enjoyed them a lot. Eso is a different game and i play it now already since 1,5 year :) Sometimes i play alone and sometimes i play with friends and guild members :) ESO offers you a beautiful world with a lot of things to do:)

as a solo player i work on ACHIEVEMENTS, with Homestead - achievements will fill your Home, I have completed Dark Anchors, Exploration and Quests from base game achievements, Crafting is done except for afew Akaviri motifs.

Yes the story is largely interesting and fun, though sometimes the quests can be a little tedious. If you want someone to play with feel free to add me :)

I'm enjoying the PvE aspect of the game very much :)

Probably the best solo MMORPG I ever tried.
