Where to grind for minerals?.
Why dont the mines have minerals? I dont get it, am I the only one annoyed I cant easily find minerals to use for crafting? am I just unlucky? Is there a common place where minerals spawn? Like high iron ore?

Hello?
BrightGirl Jun 8, 2017 @ 9:02pm
You can find ores/wood/cloth(plants)/alchemy reagents everywhere. They are not as abundent in dungeons. Provisioning goods are found in crates/barrels/etc. There is stuff everywhere.

For most of the crafting skill lines, there is a "keen eyes" skill. Getting it will make resources glow when you are near them.

YOu can also get addons that mark resource spawn areas after you get them, so you can go back and hope they have spawned again.

Yeah but a new character, also I mean like a large abundance, like how RuneScape has mines for minerals? Also I think I did research and found out it's in the cliff side of mountains, on the map I believe it resembles squigly lines =p but I dunno for sure.

But I think to me it seems random.....

It is random and it isn't. Wherever you find a resource spawn, if you wait there long enough, resources similar or identical to that type will pop up in the general area. Its like a circle of potential resources,.

Harvestmap addon helps. Puts a marker on map when you find resources, and the type.

Crafting materials are based upon your Charcater level, & your crafting Rank. For Example: CP 160 & Rank 50 in Blacksmithing will always find Rubedite Ore.

False. You have higher chances of Rubedite ore, and will see it more often in different zones, but you can easily find iron or high iron too.

In just increases chances of finding higher tier materials.

No, not wrong. A CP 160 character with Rank 50 in Blacksmithing will never find iron ore. Actually play the game; don't assume.

Please look at my time played. That is just the steam client alone. Been here since beta.

You are talking out of your ass. You will find all materials at max rank blacksmithing, but you will find the high tier a lot more often.

How about you actually play the game, dude.
Sir Fed Dump Jun 9, 2017 @ 4:39pm
After hitting Rank 50 I have never found iron ore, anywhere. You are the one talking out of you ass.

Go back to earlier zones and search near cliffs.

Seriously dude, yes, ore scales, but you can still find lower tier ores. You might be thinking of update 12, back in fall 2016, where they added the function that ore scales, so you don't get stuck in the end game areas farming for ores with other players.
