Werewolf mage?.
So I asked for a werewolf bite since I was doing a dungeon with a newly made friend, when he transformed he summoner 2 wolf's, or let wolf's, so in my guild after learning they had a discord, asked for a werewolf bite, later they learned I was a mage and got me some sweet new gear, but they also suggested I be a vampire, So I cured it and got vampirism or something like that, thing is, I'm not much of a vampire fan, and they recommended me to make a new character specifically for the werewolf, is this a smart choice?. It's that I think I would prefer mage werewolf, soo idk. Help?.

Vamp has some good passives for increasing mana recovery. werewolf passives are all for WW form.

Technically, play however you want. People might kick you from trials if you don't play exactly as they command, but meh, let them be ♥♥♥♥♥.
I have a healing templar that has ww, and a nord dk ww. My dps sorc has vamp.

It's not a smart choice because almost all your werewolf skills scale with stamina, but you're a caster so you would want to max out magika. So it doesn't make sense

You have 8 character slots, I say have one of each!

WW increases your stamina regen and Vampire your magicka regen. So from a build perspective being a WW doesn't help really do you any favors. BUT it's a game and if you enjoy playing as a mage WW then go wreak havoc!

Though - as someone else ssaid - in veteran dungeons or trials you might get chewed out a bit because will not be as effective as other builds in a very punshing environment. Honestly, rightly so, you need to think of the group but you could always sideline your WW abilities in that setting or make another character.

I play largely a mage, but I can see some benefits from becoming a werewolf. You see on werewolf form as a mage you can survive 10x better due to the Hircine's Bounty Skills that gives you healing. It is the only skills that requires magic to be used. Stam users struggle with surviving as a werewolf due to the lack of magic that they sustain. Unfortunately if you want to become a competitive player I would recommend being a vampire for your magic toons because you can't ignore the awesome passives that it gives you. http://elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife.com/Vampire+Skills

This may be a little off subject but I was planning on going Vampire later on. My question is, do you suffer damage during the day like other Elder Scrolls games or did they remove that restriction with ESO?

By the way if you do decide on being a mage werewolf.... your DPS, as a werewolf, will be severely low, and like what others will tell you if you plan on doing veteran dungeons and trials and you transform into a werewolf.... most likely you would probably be kicked out and replaced. Werewolf is far better being used for pvp content then pve to be honest :) Theirs a lot is kickass videos out there of werewolves in pvp owning non werewolves :) So you might want to get into some pvp if you're interested in becoming a werewolf :) Make sure you join a pvp werewolf guild on top it off :)

No theirs no sun damage in ESO playing as a vampire. You would have Noxiphilic Sanguivoria.
