70GB download size for a MMO game??? [SOLVED]

[AMD Ryzen 7 5200HX 2.9GHz]

are you ♥♥♥♥ing kidding me, I can install 4 different games with that same size,
why its so big? data files are badly compressed or something? I know this MMO,
I played it before, and seems like size keep getting bigger in every update/patch

even GTA V around 50GB and that game better graphics,animations, rendering
engine etc.

steam says estimated time remaning 3 days, I have physical copy
discs, I put them in, and steam cuts the installation process by 1/3 and forces
me to download ENTIRE game. Discs are only installs like 5 gigs data, and this is not
patch or something,

I can't leave my PC open 3 days to download this

I suggest finding a game where you can play with a little internet connection with.... I would stay away from mmo's since they are connection heavy as you already know.

You misunderstand, I can play MMOs without any issues, my problem is download
size is so huge that takes forever to download, I have good upload speed since its

you know, Doom is about 70 gigs too, actually its 76 gigs... and thats a single player game. but more to the point. if it takes you 3 days to download this, you should spend the money on upgrading your internet before getting a game like this. i downloaded this in under an hour.

lol mmos almost ALWAYS have a bigger download size than any other game wow takes up 100gs alone and its not a graphically impressive game but theres tons of areas and other stuff id rather use the 70 gigs for this game than not so take it for what it is ...if thats really something that pisses you off that much then id stop gaming now seeing as they are only going to get bigger esepcially with the newer graphics cards out

And nooone is even complaining that TERA itself is like 40GB.
Last time I check ESO was around 60GB+
The 70GB is just a Space Check requirement before it downloads the vanilla client.
Then once thats done, you will have to Update the Client because Steam ONLY keeps the vanilla version. Not the latest version.

well i live in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ country called India with 100mbps , dont think you need to be in US/UK to get a good internet these days
