Can't create an account, says my e-mail is an invalid format
I downloaded Tamriel Unlimted Imperial Edition a few years ago, created an ESO account, then got bored and uninstalled it. I just downloaded it again, and tried to link my ESO account with my Steam account, but it says my ESO account doesn't exist. (I guess they purge inactive accounts.) So I tried selecting that I am new to ESO. Every time I click "Create Account" it says "Email address format is invalid." Is it because my domain has a hyphen in it? I've run into this in the past with NSoft games; I was not able to create an account using my gaming address because there's a hyphen in it. Does ESO have the same issue?

also you might need to DELETE LOCAL CONTENT from STEAM, then re-install Steams version of ESO

I have a GMail address, actually, but I have an e-mail address I use exclusively for gaming. I'd rather not involve yet another address just to work around a login problem.

I had uninstalled ESO a year or so back, and reinstalled it yesterday, so it should be the correct content.
