Random increase spikes in mouse speed.
I know the first thing you're thinking, it's an acceleration problem. This is not an acceleration problem. It happens while I'm moving my mouse at the same speed. Acceleration is when your cursor's speed is multiplied by how fast you're moving your mouse. I also have never had this problem in any other game or software. That out of the way, I'll describe this problem.

While I am not in a menu, and whether or not I am in first or third person, the speed at which my view moves will seemingly at random change to be very high.

Example: I'm moving my mouse very slowly to the left (or any other direction. Right, up, down, diagonal) to slightly change the direction in which I'm looking, but then my view rapidly flips around so now I'm facing the entirely opposite direction.

Also, this never happens to my cursor in the ingame menues. The speed of my cursor in ingame menues appears the stay consistently the same.

I'm also not the only person with this problem, as I've seen posts on other sites about it without solutions. Does someone here know how this problem can be fixed?

I have exactly the same problem. I just started playing yesterday and haven't experienced this problem until now. It seems to work normally for a while right after launching the game but in less than five minutes the random mouse speed changes come back again. I went through a lot of other threads but none of the solutions worked, including trying a different mouse. Any ideas? I'm using Razer's DeathAdder Elite and Razor Synapse, acceleration turned off.

I have exactly the same problem. Everyone says that its mouse acceleration, but its not. Only happens in this game.

Mouse is working fine in menus. Very annoying bug. YES! ITS A BUG OF THE GAME NOT AN ISSUE WITH HARDWARE! <- to all annoying little suckers who say otherwise.

I agree with you Mr. Suli Tuli. After having the issue in ESO i went and launched CS:GO and my accuracy did not suffer at all, so it is definitelly something with the game, and as it occurs only on some people's PCs, it might only have problems with certain configurations which I still can't figure out.

True, Rodr. An AAA title should not have these type of faults, as it is annoying enough, and its NOT a small amount of users experiencing the same.

Can we highlight this issue with the devs somehow? Because I doubt that complaining here will have any effect towards improvement =)

Its not actually a Triple A title, because its being made by Zenimax Online, and not Bethesda. Bethesda only published it, Zenimax is a totally different company.

I'm not too sure about that, there already are a few threads even on their official forum regarding this issue and it still persists so.. :( Also I played for another six hours today and nothing happenned, it is very strange.

Chiku: Ok then, but knowing that does not help us with solving the issue, or does it? :) And even if Bethesda did not create it, I would still expect that they will be interested in quality of something that is somewhat associated with their name.

I agree with Rodr. While Zenimax was the one who created it, Bethesda still publishes it, and attaches its name onto it. And Bethesda does not want to hook up with poor quality games (who would? ). Based on the game's quality, gameplay etc, I would personally still qualify it as a triple A game.

What makes me a bit worried is that the game is about 3 years old now, and how cun such problem still be there? Or is it because of some new HW/SW that came out recently and the game was not yet (still) optimised for it?

Seriously I know this thread is old but this is a very annoying bug... If you have ANY mouse that uses razer synapse completely close it. Unplug from usb and plug it into a front usb port or a different usb port on the back and let the basic windows drivers install fixed the issue for me no idea why or how.

Sounds good. I don't expect Bethesda to ever look into this issue...

If another software is causing problems, its the Softwares problem to fix.

Razer Synapse anyways causes more problems than it fixes.

Ive always used razer products, sometimes others, and by far Synapse is the least compatible software for mouse there is. Causes so many problems in so many games, especially games where there is no software acceleration causes it to jump pixels. Uninstalling Synapse clears that issue.
