XBOX One controller not working

X1 wireless controller is not working in game. It works in free weekend version, then I buy game on steam and my controller stop working. Is there any solution for this issue?

Did you turn on the controller in the game settings?

I cannot find it in settings.

Settings / Gameplay - Gamepad Mode (Beta) set to ON.

I have only Video and Audio in Settings, There is no Gameplay option.

Are you looking on the character screen? If you load into the game, you'll have more options.

I will look at it later, I thought it was issue with my game and I let steam to verify files, which deleted my game so I need to redownload 60GB again.

what you do is close down game, plug in controller, then start game, then go into setting and under gameplay turn on GAMEPAD BETA and go play ESO by controller, i use an Xbox elite with no problems. i play on windows 7 and my controler requires windows 10 to customize, but it works great from ESO'S gamepad beta.

NEVER verify this game with Steam = NO NO, instead do a REPAIR from ESO launcher found under GAME OPTIONS

i just checked, you have to enter game with a character, once in-game, open MENU which is START button on your controller, then open OPTIONS, then GAMEPLAY and at the top will be GAMEPAD BETA turn it on, now go play.

I am so sorry, I found out that controller is working in game, but not in menu. I should try to run game first. And yes Gamepad Beta is in Gamplay menu in game. Thank you very much for your help.
