Storage
WHat kind of elder scroll games has a limited storage even in bank? I can undersrtand you cannot cary all items with you, at least give an ingame options to buy additional chest to store items. In all eso games you buy houses for storage covenience and housing comes out with out some sort of storage ulitlity. Let people HOARD!

You can spend ingame gold to upgrade your inventory space and bank space. If you're looking to hoard crafting materials look into ESO+. Gives you access to the crafting bag which is more than worth it for us hoarders!

It helps with money sink. Also enticed you to buy ESO+ so all your crafting items are in a separate, infinite space pouch.

There's a bank y'know.

You got to remember that this isn't set up like the Elder Scrolls series. If you're wanting to play ESO like an average ES game, you'll be disappointed

storage will come, as ZOS knows they'll lose a million or so players if no storage happens in the near future, i'll be one for sure. Even if they only give us MANNEQUINS that can wear 7pc armor and up to 2 one-handed weapons with no limits on how many mannequins you can have at home.

lol. Its been around since 2014. I've played it in beta. They are not going to lose a million or so players, we will just learn better item management.

Visit a bag merchant and get more slots. It's not a big deal at all to have something in the game that actually keeps gold useful.

Dude you can get up to 200 normal bag and 200 bank space. Which is way above your usual player needs. Also when you make a crafting character, you dont need to carry your mats on your main anymore
Zero Mutt Feb 13, 2017 @ 9:56pm
ZOS said homestead didnt get storage because 90% of the player base doesnt have maxed out bank/bag + it would diminish a huge incentive for eso+, the crafting bag.... with all those options we have now Idk what to say to you if you still need more space

Bag: 140, mount: 60, bank: 240, but it will cost a few million plus months of training for mount. Space management can be a chore but gets easier as you remember key items. I doubt we'll see typical ES storage in this game anytime soon. The crafting bag makes real money. Why would they throw that away?

Hi I have a few hundred hours playing the original, one point i wish to make is as a new player you never know what you need, this comes with experience , but yet you need moreth than the higher level player to kick start you crafting, we all know this, but ownership of items is important, not selling off without knowledge of implications that only comes with levels. a real cool point for me was my first home, having storage for or the stuff i was unsure about, made me want to hunt more, to get more until i understood what was without worth. And this is a fundimental part of skyrim player perception of their unique skill path, so i feel i need that extra personal store, I realise this will come at a cost but i want the option, even if its a barrrel on a street without my own home, its a personal part of game that makes you keep playing.

As a "storage management" game ESO is great. I love spending 10-20% of my time shifting materials around between characters. Honestly the quests, story line and overall RPG aspects of this game are highly overrated.

Until moments ago my boredom was peaking before I learned that after spending $ for crowns to buy a 60 slot storage container, it won't fit in any of my free 'inn-rooms' (unless I remove the 30-slot container I already had).

So my purchase didn't "net" me a +60 capacity, but instead a +30 capacity across characters. Imagine my delight when I learned that I'll get to keep some items in some houses and other items in other houses. I'll get to spend more time in material logistics than I imagined before!

In retrospect, I would have felt ripped off if I HAD been able to merely set my new container in a house next to my old one and place my materials in it.

It also occurs to me, I am allowed to spend more $ to buy a larger house or go grind gold until I can buy a larger house. That's SO COOL. I was beginning to wonder what I would do in this game for fun.

Honestly, I get it and I love the fact they've found a way to sheer the gaming public for revenue. I'm probably not going to sub to the game anyway for various financial/non-financial reasons. I find the crown store a fascinating demonstration of what must be a classic "engineers" vs. "accountants" battle going on inside Zenimax.

I just felt like posting a small rant somewhere before moving on with my current "aha, you f'ers got me to buy something without actually making the implications clear in advance" recognition.

Few million what? It takes 945k to fully upgrade bank+inventory
