First or Third person view?
In which mode do you play? First person mode is good for exploring, provides a great experience , but it is awful while fighting.

First person for immersion.

third, too many enemies to play first, and that's all i say in this matter - that's my story and i'm sticking to it.

3rd person, very close to the character but with the widest fov for everything, except veteran dugeons and trails.

I only use 3rd person for healing staff, cause when being a healer you need to pay attention to everyone more.

Everything else I use first person.

I used to find 3rd person really awkward but now that I've gotten used to it, I much prefer it (especially in games where you can customize your character). Now I find 1st person to feel claustrophobic, and the arm motions when in combat look really goofy.

I am playing a dragonknight so going into first person is suicide.

First person, as you'll find out if you run dungeons, will get you killed; and subsequently booted from said gorup for dying to red too many times.

You want to use third person, trust me. I used to use first for immersion purposes, but even with what I was using it for, third is better for me now.

Whatever works for you solo. I played in 1st person a lot, and will still do so for a few things. In groups 3rd person is better just because MMO group fights can get pretty crazy and you need to see the bigger picture, literally. I usually play now in 3rd person, even solo, but as close up as possible, but in groups I will zoom out because I'm usually playing dps and need to kept track of the healer and any adds as well as keep myself alive.
I played sneak night blade with third person with slight vertical offset up. Play mmo with first person is limiting visibility and movement, but first person improve aspect like block and dodge because the focus of the middle screen enemy. But dont use it, ur movement not as good as third person.
And using flash ability like leap and ambush make me confused.

I play 3rd. I sometimes prefered 3rd in skyrim, I think fighting is much more fun when you can see all the moves properly, but looting and doing certain things in skyrim was annoying in 3rd person yet works fine in this game so I have little reason to use first :)

Dude, when you start getting into the game, you will know it's impossible to play first person. I mean for exploring, sure you can, even though I don't recomment it. But pve?pvp? Impossible.

Heh . Tank , 530 lvl . ALL DUNGEONS on veteran + 1 dlc - MAZATUN -- i pass on 1st person mode. PvP - veteran 1 rang . ALWAYS on 1st person ( exept WW and hoirses . of course ) I ll explaine - yes , vision - more realistic and thats makes me feel atmoshere of game as i am there , and not little muppet from 3d view ! And bosses . From 3 view - just little muppets , from 1st - like real - big and scary - full detailed graphik. Yes , i know - 99 % - play with unrealistic view from 3d person and they dont care about playing full hard mode. For me - feeling myself in the game only possible as i am there - and only 1st per view can give you that feeling , not just like little muppet . Agree about 3d view more convinient but it absolutly killing the feeling of being there . Sorry - for gram mistakes , not english.

Your preference. Both have its pros and cons. Personally i like first person. But i play pvp in 3rd person.
