However... healing is by and far the easiest way for you to get AP as part of any group. If you don't mind the hassle of a respec, just go do that, toss on a Resto staff, and heal the zerg for a couple days. You should get to rank 6 or 7 rather quickly.
Thankfully this doesn't take as long as it used to, though. It used to take much, much longer than it does now.
I assume you're going after Caltrops? They're very much worth it, if that's what you're after. Any stamina build pretty much requires them... even more so after the coming change to them.. although I don't agree with the duration change, the cost reduction coming makes it more managable. (They're going from a 30s duration to around 10s, but having the cost reduced dramatically, and the damage increased to compensate. It'll make for a less stale roation, at least... I guess?)
How much you will get depends on your luck and raid size. I got ~60k ap yesterday. Got Vigor and made half way to Caltrops. 3 more times like this, and i can say "f___ you" to Cyrodiil.
