should a dragonknight carry a two handed weapon or a sword and a shield for the entire game?
should a dragonknight carry a two handed weapon or a sword and a shield for the entire game? It seems like your class can equip almost any weapon. But what in the long run is best for a dragonknight?

DK Tanks need to level up Sword + Board somehow.

I use a two handed weapon as my main and dual wield daggers for my secondary. You actually make faster kills with the dual wield. I have not gotten into end game dungeons yet as I play solo so far, but my understanding is most groups in hard group areas prefer the tank to use duel wield. Two handed is more for pve solo.

If you are tanking, sword and shield are better for the taunt skills.

If you are soloing, 2h is great for doing damage to multiple at once.

It's not almost any weapon. It's any weapon, you can wield anything you want. You can actually make a dps dragonknight magicka with a fire destruction staff, it works like a charm.
You just need to pick the weapon that fits your rolethe best. If you're tanking pick sword and shield, if you're DPS stamina, pick dual wield or 2H and bow, if you're magicka pick dual wield or destruction staff if you use the skills. If you want to heal pick a restoration staff.
