I need help on using a Quick slot healing potion

I need help on using a Quick slot healing potion. I tapped the keyboard Q button and I see the healing potions there and it says I have 2 of them.But what keyboard button do I hit to use one of them?

Go in inventory, press Q. Set the HP pot to a slot.

Then, when playing game, Hold Q and move mouse around to highlight the potion you want, then release Q.

It should then be in the little box on your skill bars. You can then tap Q to use it.

I have some trouble with that, even though I own more than 10 hp potions in the slot for Q it is grayed out during battles and won't react. As an AOE build I help myself from dying by using the sorcerer's summon skill, it would be very helpful to get some tips regarding this issue though!

Sorry for jumping on board, the topic fits my own troubles and I would hate to open up two same-titled ones at the same time.

I would first double check you have the right potion in that slot. I've had annoying incidents where I still had lower level potions slotted, but inventory had better potions.

I'm trying to look right now to see if there are others with greyed out Q problems. The only Greyed out I know about is when my pots are on cooldown.

Okay, the only things I'm finding right now (at work so can't search as much), is that since 1.6.1, people have had issues with the Pots getting permenantly greyed out. They recommend clearing out the quickslots by going to inventory, pressing Q, and hovering over each pot and using delete.

ty, yep you just tap the Q button againj during the game to use a healing potion
