ESO plus payment option
I'm not familiar with managing subs on steam. I'm trying to reactivate my ESO plus but the payment option I had the first time around isn't available anymore. It only gives me the option to update my payment info and only a credit card can be filled.

Adding ESO plus to the cart does nothing so I'm essentially stuck. Anyone knows how I can permanently remove the sub from the list of managed subscriptions in someone's account settings? So I can just go through the cart again and get access to alternate payment options for my country.

whatever you use to pay, must must enter new numbers off of new card. See your account name, up top right, click on it, then click on ACCOUNT DETAIL, then change the number for card to new card numbers go buy stuff

I just want to go back to my payment method. Steam cards are fixed amounts. I just want to pay the sub amount.

click your wallet on the top right and then go to your subs and click edit you should be able to do what you need

Editing your subscriptions gives you an error message about no payment options on the account (no CC info). The only way to move forward it seems is to fill said information which I don't have.

I have the same problem :-/ Have you been able to solve the problem somehow?

You can cancel ESO+ in Steam and buy it via site. ESO+ will be working fine, even with Steam-bound account. Steam wont see that you already have ESO+ enabled, tho. Same as site wont see you had ESO+ with Steam.

I don't think you can pay for subs with your Steam wallet. You need to have a credit card on record with Steam and the funds will be pulled from there.

You can pay for your sub with Steam Wallet I went through it a few mins ago, I had a sub to ESO+ but no saved card on file which failed today. So I first Cancelled the current one from Account subs in steam then added some funds to my wallet and re-activated the sub and it took the funds & added ESO+ back to my account.

I'll check if I can use my payment method on the official website then. Thanks for the tip.

@chattra: nah not solved. I think unless you talk to someone from customer service on steam (not sure if that's possible, the entire thing looked automated when i was looking), you're stuck with how it is now. So sound like you go through official website or steam wallet :s

Thanks for your answers :-) I "solved" it by using the credit card of a friend, so not ideal, but at least I have ESO+ again :-)

I have the amount on my wallet and it doesn't allow me to take the funds from the wallet to resub.

This is what I get:
"Steam failed to process your payment.
Steam attempted to process your recurring payment for The Elder Scrolls Online: Plus 1 Month Membership Recurring but was unable to complete the transaction.

Please ensure that your payment information is up to date and that you have enough funds on your account for this transaction. You can update your subscription and saved billing information anytime from your account details page.

I subbed via the ESO site, then when I started the game from Steam, it offered to let me link my Steam account to my ESO site account. I need to use Steam to launch it, cuz that's where I bought the Morrowind expansion but my sub is working fine. I used Paypal to sub, personally.

firsat time steam second time card even know i had it in steam its crap should take from steam first

TLDR - Steam only takes RESUB in the form of Credit cards, subbing from site directly is better

EDIT:
I got it resolved by support (after 7 days !!!). There was a card associated with my account and it wasn't showing up. They removed the CC information and that allowed me to use my Steam Wallet to renew the sub.
