No Linux Love?
I came here to see if the game had any love for Linux-based Distros... And was severely disappointed.

I wonder if there are any plans to export BTD5 Steam Edition to Linux. Especially with the Steam Machine coming closer to a stable, non-beta release. Crossing my fingers, because it'd be nice to pop bloons with a penguin.

Not at the moment, but it may be something we consider in the future if enough people ask for it!

Pretty difficult to get Linux gamers to come here and make noise for what is (no offence.. and no pun intended) just a tower defence game - by which I mean, not a triple-A title.

Hopefully you'll see some value in the potential market. If you release, I'll likely buy it. I've spent a fair bit of time with Defence Grid 2 so I'm looking for my next TD fix!

I'll stick to the Kongregate or Miniclip free flash version for the moment.

just get a reconigzed OS for games and stop being such a cheapskate. ooh look at me i run *ix im so 1337 i didnt have to pay for an OS. the simple fact is you get what you paid for, so in this case you get NOTHING!

So... in summary +1 for Linux. Thanks.

+1 for a Linux release. I'm horribly addicted to BTD5, so it'd be swell getting it on my preferred OS.

I'd also like a GNU/Linux version

You heard it here from an official NK dev already...Steam BTD5 for Linux is a possibility.

Keep the requests coming and you can even email NK directly with your wish:
