Progress gone.

My progress has been erased. I have achievemnts proving that I had progress and I am on the same computer but when I logged in my progress was fully deleted. Any way to get it back?

Did you back it up onto the steam cloud? If you did not back it up manually or on the steam cloud there is no way to recover your save.

Not that I can recall, I should have saved it manually like the very rude community had posted above. I am used to automatic saving games to cloud.

It have happened to my as well, nothing unusual going on in my computer, just 23 hours (plus a lot offline) expended gone :(( any idea how to recover that?

^ same, i had saved it on the cloud alot of times but i checked it today, all progress is gone, and cloud is set to rank 1..

Did you have cloud saving enabled on your account?

If cloud saving was not enabled on your steam account it will look like your game got saved to the cloud but it will not have.

Did anything out of the ordinary happen before your progress got lost ie. computer update, computer restart while in game, computer crash, game crash, steam update/crash?

Ninja kiwi will probably want your computer specs to help them track down what is causing this bug.

You could try a data recovery program like Recuva to try and recover your data or you could request that someone in the community post their save online for you to use. I have no idea if the data recovery program will work but it is something to try and knowing if it works or not may help point ninja kiwi in the right direction for figuring out this bug.

Literally just had this happen to me after my son turned off the power strip by accident while the game was playing. :( Back to square 1.
