"Testing connection to game..." forever

this is an issue ive seen pop up a few years ago for some people in this forum, but it happens randomly to me independant of device used or wifi signal. does anyone have any actual solutions to this? i've tried a lot.

I have this Problem too, but just cancelling and trying again fixes it, might take some tries, but eventually you get to a game. Don't wait for more than 30 seconds, in my experience you don't get a connection, most times even 10 seconds are enough Hope that helps.

From the pattern I've seen, it seems like there are some people you can connect to, and some you can't. The ones I can connect to almost always connect in under 10 seconds, otherwise it never works.

I'm guessing the big problem is it sometimes just keeps trying to reconnect me with the same people that won't connect with me, rather than creating or allowing the creation of a list of reliable failures.

Only thing I can think of that seems to work a little is to change the list of the types of games you want to play to try to force a different match, but that wouldn't work if someone keeps restarting their attempt(s) to play a game that will accept all 4 modes and all 4 map types.
