BTD6 Ad in Game
I mean, BTD5 on steam is a paid for game, and it still has a BTD6 ad on the menu urging players to try the new game. This would be fine if there was a way to get the game on steam, but there isn't. It's just an ad for a game on a completely different platform, and it puts a bad taste in my mouth.

There will also be advertising on the mobile version of btd6 for the steam version when it comes out. Will you have an issue with that also?

I would like the game to tell me if there was a new release in a series especially if i was someone that enjoyed the game but didnt follow the devs.

I don't play mobile, so no. If I did, I would because BTD6 itself costs money, and a paid for version shouldn't be a platform to advertise another one.

Maybe if there was a version on steam where PC gamers could play it, but there is none. It's just an ad for a sequel when I just want to play Bloons TD 5. Plus, the ad doesn't go away.

I also disagree. It's not that You get a random ad about a random stuff. You got a notice that a new game from the series is released. And even though you don't play mobile, there are plenty of people out there that do play, and for them that announcement might be interesting.

So stop being selfish, it's not really a big deal.

I agree, especially when it just taunts you with a new game (only available on phones) when i'll have to wait months for the steam port

It isn't just a notice. It is something that advertises a game on a different platform and doesn't go away.

How is not liking that selfish? I understand you are just trying to insult me in order to escalate the argument, but that is not needed here.

Ads in a paid program, even ads for the developers own stuff is pretty bad. I don’t mind it here in BTD5, but it happened in another program (Borderless Gaming, a payed program, had an ad for a recently released free program by the same dev) and I was so unhappy about it that I wrote to Steam support and got a refund.

I do not insult people. Sorry if you felt like that.

What I meant is that there are many people that play on both Steam and mobile, and they would appreciate that kind of ads. You don't play mobile, but that doesn't mean that everybody else also doesn't play. I for one don't play on Steam, just on mobile, but if I were to play on Steam, I would be happy to know that a new game came out. I also would be happy to get an ad on mobile about BTD6 releasing on Steam, because I would know that I finally can purchase it.

I would understand you if you would be getting random ads in a paid game. I also wouldn't want to see ads like "buy 10 white pants or diapers and get one for free" in a paid game. But you aren't getting these, are you? For me that kind of ads - "we released a new game, and you might want to check it out!" - isn't something bad.

About the last little quote "we released a new game, you might wanna check it out!" the problem here is, that you simply just cannot get rid of the ad, if there was a way to say that you aknowledge the fact there is a new game and can get rid of the ad, it would be fine

Buy a copy for your phone in support of Ninja Kiwi for developing this game.
I think the funding would go towards making the Steam version.

Thought, I pulled out the installation from my phone and put it on PC.
Works wonder. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JrOIVTxktGg
