unique ways of beating impoppable?
I want to ask all of you to post in the comments how you beat impoppable for maps. I'm actually not very good so I want to learn from the pros. or just copy their tactics
One thing: no agents and double cash, and please read the comments to see if your strategy is posted, It does say unique in the title for a reason. now that I say this, there's probably only gonna be like only 5 comments

3 0/0 darts with dart specialty
Farm by round 8
Placing free darts as i get them
Farm to 2/0
Upgrade a dart to 2/3
Get up to 4 2/0 farms while upgrading a dart to 2/3 after each farm
0/0 chipper at round 40
Upgrade one farm to 3/0
Once you have enough moneys sell the 3 other farms to buy a 4/0 farm then upgrade to 4/2
Round 46 4/2 chipper
4/2 bomb built under influence of village
Arctic wind built under effect of village
2x 4/2 chipper
Village to 2/3
2/3 glue by village
Spam 4/2 chippers

That is the basis of my strategy. There is a bit more with targeting priorities of towers especially in the beginning of the game but i dont have the time to get into that right now... i will post my mostly complete tar pits impoppable guide one here later and that should be able to be modified to work on every track until you get to mastery mode.

Edit: My strategy here is done without monkey lab bsing active

Just listen to Gakm4... I use that same strategy for my no agent no premium no monkey lab impoppable runs, and I doubt that anyone could come up with a pre-mastery mode strategy that is more cost efficient and has as good of farming as the strategy he has outlined above...

Edit: For targeting, I tend to place 3 0/0 darters right away... one who's 2/3 upgraded range will cover the beginning part of the track, one who's 2/3 range will cover the middle part of the track (or between beg and mid), and another who's 2/3 range will cover the mid/end or end part of the track. In other words, I make sure to space them out so that they overlap with each other ever so slightly... The front darter I make sure to target strong, the middle one I also tend to target strong, the last one stays at first to pick up stragglers until you get better built up. This initial setup will work for a good chunk of the tracks, but for the harder tracks, and especially for tar pits, it gets more complicated and you may even have to adjust your targeting back and forth during certain rounds... It's obviously too time consuming to explain every variation for every track, but us two pros can definitely lead you in the right direction for learning better tactics...

This is my guide i made for myself for when i did tar pits on impoppable. Done with level 9 monkey lab and dart monkey specialty




Rounds 1: 4 darts range lines up on water
Round 2: 1 dart
Round 8: Farm
Round 10: 2 Darts along waters edge forming inner ring
Upgrade Farm to 1/0
Round 12: Place 3 Darts inner circle
Outer ring set strong target
Round 17: Upgrade Farm

Round 18: Submarine in middle of pool
Road spike bottom right after sub is purchased

Rounds 19/20/21/: upgrade sub
Round 23: 2 spikes top right and bottom left and upgrade sub
Round 24: Spike for camo green top left
Round 26: 2nd farm 1/0
Wait after round to get all bananas
Free dart bottom left just outside of middle ring
Round 27: Might need road spike during yellow bloons
Round 28: 2nd farm up to 2/0
Round 30: 3rd farm bought and upgraded to 1/0
Round 31: place free dart top right right behind outer ring darts
previous outer ring now refered to as middle ring
new darts refered to as outer ring

Try upgrading middle ring of darts instead of outer ring next time


Round 32: place spike bottom right after first black comes out
Upgrade farm to 2/0
Upgrade bottom dart to 2/3 upgrading right side first as i go

Round 33: need 2-3 spikes on the top and top right and top left
Top left dart to 2/3 after round
Round 34/35: 2/3 Darts inner ring top right and botton left
Bottom right dart to 0/3 then 2/3

Round 37: ??upgrade farm to 3/2??
Round 38: Complete outer ring of darts
Round 39: Place ring of chippers targeting strong just inside of middle dart ring
Round 42: Usually require spikes on a camo at the end

Round 44: Sell 2/0 farms
4/0 farm
Round 45: 4/2 Farm
Round 46: ~8 road spikes top left
Sub just to the left of the middle one and upgrading to 2/2
Sub to the right 2/0
Round 47: Sub to 2/2
Top left middle dart to 2/3
Bottom right middle dart to 2/3c
Round 48: Middle ring 2/3
?2/0 Farm?
Round 49: Bottom left chipper to 4/2 under effect of village then sell village
Round 51: Top right chipper to 4/2 W/village
Round 52: village and 3/0 farm
Round 54: May need spikes
Round 55: 4/0 Farm after round start
Sell Village durring round
4/2 Farm durring round
Round 56: 3/0 farm
Round 58: village and 4/2 farm
Sell village
Outer ring to 2/3
Round 59: Top left chipper to 4/2
Round 60: 2 Subs to 2/2 above and below middle sub
Round 62: 4 4/2 Bomb towers
Round 63: 1 4/2 bomb
Round 65: 4/2 both remaining chippers
Round 68: 5 2/2 villages having at least the bomb tower in range
Spam the hell out of 2/2 subs and 4/2 chippers and whatever the hell else you want

I’m just about done every beginner track on impoppable. My strategy is using monkey engineers with specialty tower level 4. First, I place a monkey enginneer, then upgrade to 1/0
Then I save up to buy a farm
Then I upgrade farm to 1/0
Then 2/0
Then 3/0, while my single 1/0 monkey enginner is still singlehandedly handling the bloons :O

Next, to counter camos, I get monkey apprentice. Upgrade to 2/2
Then I get 2 more 3/0 farms so now I have 3. I also get monkey village to help save money
I then upgrade monkey apprentice to 2/3 and maybe get a few more 1/0 engineers
Then upgrade village to 2/2 and upgrade farms to 4/4, and upgrade engineers to 1/3
Get 1 or 2 ice towers to 3/0 and get 2 more 4/4 farms to make 5 in total.
At this stage I’m making money like crazy so strategy becomes less important. I might get 5 0/4 supermonkeys, maybe a monkey temple, maybe 20 aprentices at 0/4 and spam phoenixes everywhere, or get a half dozen 4/0 bucaneers

I'll make a few suggestions to help better your strategy, as I think you will run into problems when getting into advanced and expert tracks (maybe even some intermediate tracks already).

For starters, I would recommend sticking to 2/0 farms instead of making them into 3/0 farms. A couple 2/0 farms are ($600?) cheaper than a single 3/0 farm, and those two 2/0 farms will earn you $40 more per round than a single 3/0 farm. You will be more cost efficient with your farming that way. Also, making at least one 4/2 farm before round 46 will dramatically increase your profits. I forget the exact numbers offhand, but you should be able to make four 2/0 farms, and then when you got around $7K, you should be able to sell those four farms and turn them into a single 4/2 farm.

I could get into my suggestions on improving all of your tower and tower upgrade choices, but I'll leave you to experiment with that.

Ah thanks, I was beginning to suspect that 3/0 farms may not be the most cost effective way. Very helpful thank you, I will make good use of this :)

No matter what offensive towers I use, money is the key to victory. Engineer 4-x asap and built him so that the trap is right at the beginning of the track and only covers a small portion. That way it maximises the money farming. Built farm and upgrade asap. Only built enough offensive towers to last the rounds. Built village asap and upgrade 3-x.

That's what I use to farm money. if done right you can built a fully upgraded monkey temple 4-2 at round 80 I think. That is aside from your already built offensive and the tower should be redundant at that point.

The only 'difficult' round on impoppable is round 85 btw. You can built chippers 4-x and set to strong to stall the ZOMG bloons. Built 5, one for each ZOMG. Also built alot of bomb towers 2-3/4 and set to strong to kill the red and blue zepplings. Or built snipers 4-x and set to strong to stun the zepplins.

English is not my primairy language so please do not mind the typos.

first place a ninja and get it to 4 2 and a bomb tower and have bannana farms for rounds 1-15
once you have enogh money get a 4 -2 monkey townand sell everything else exept the farms and get as many 4-2 monkey towns and 2-4 monkey towns as you can.
