Buying monkey money

Whenever I try to buy monkey money it asks me to try again later. Help?

There are no micro transactions in the steam version. I believe the fact that you can access that is just a holdover from the double cash event from when they ported it from mobile to steam.

I have like 125k Monkey Money, no point in spending real cash to get it kayne, it's super easy to get.

Yea, there is a mining technique... go nuts when you're in the double money mode, and hold off on finishing maps until then because you get a lot less after the first time.

But there's really no need to, I have $430,000 in Monkey Money; but if I just chilled out and didn't worry about it, I'd still have over $100,000 which is more than enough.
