my Feedback after 35 hours
So I've played for 35 hours my settlement now, I have a level 4 colony with 100 colonists working on factories which produce tons of stuff I actually don't need. I have unlocked and fully upgraded all food recipes. I have enough energy, food and other resources to keep the colony running forever. I also completed the green victory questline (produce arsenal seeds) so I am slowly kinda loosing interest in further building and upgrading the city. I have only built 1 big platform on the 3rd ring and it is kinda sad that it is all it takes. I would like to see the colony growing even further and eventually building all the rings but I have no ideas what to improve as I have hundreds of thouthands stuff (like plastics, metals) and nothing to spend them on. So here is what I think:

1. The game needs some kind of "great buildings" which cost a lot of resources, similar to cities skylines, it would give motivation to expand and improve.
2. food spoil mechanic, nothing stays fresh forever, food that the colony doesn't need should slowly turn into fertilizer or players could sell it on market while stilll fresh.
3. Further production automations, allow some buildings/blueprints to ignore the set min/max amounts of a ware (usefull for seeds production). Also when adding productions to production qeue I would want to tell the production to always produce the product of which I have the lowest amount in inventory. Another usefull addition would be to copy the qeue from one blueprint to another (same) blueprint for easier scaling of production amounts.
4. A setting on ship submissions blueprints to automatically stop extracting when low/high atmospheric activity.

I am obviously not expecting you to implement this in Project AURA but maybe it will give you some inspiration for your next game.

Hi, just wondering, did you play it in ultra difficulty?

When you unlock the 85 steam achievements, that's when you've done pretty much everything. Boredom may come before that.

Are here any games similar or more complex, strategic and smart?

You might enjoy 'Shadow Empire' if you like deep, intelligent systems in your strategy games but with regards to colony sims, this is about as complex as it gets.
