i.e. you can obtain core docs from any corp building where, the more far from ideology, will cost you more. But you can get all this info from the resource panel.
I feel pretty stagnant at this point because I've run out of places to build anything, even though I have the materials to do so. How do I expand or build beyond the inner ring?
Ok, after reading a few other posts, I found that there is a "Colony Expansion" technology under the Industrial technology tree. However, it requires "Core Documents" and "Core Invention" to be able to "learn" it. I had chosen the Cosmos Corp as my affinity, so it looks like the only way I can get "Industrial" Core technology or core invention docs is to build a Corp building on my inner ring and let it reverse engineer my documents into yellow core docs. That really stinks because in order to get everything I needed to build the Corp building, I had used up all the inner ring platforms. So, it looks like I have to recycle something and replace it with my Corp building?
This is far too complicated to get very interested in. I have a feeling I'm going to get frustrated and just give it up and move on to another game.
you may already know about : frostpunk, it's great
