Where does this game save downloaded photos on Linux using ProtonDB?
It says it saves to a "desktop folder" but I don't think my distro has a dedicated folder for that, and if it does, it does not show any images on it. Is there any alternate area this might have been saved or did these images just not save?

Not sure if you found the answer already, but they're saved to
~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/3059070/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Desktop/
