Video Crew Suggestion

I think an alternate mode of playing as a film crew would be neat. Everyone would play a different part.

One person has the video camera with between 10 to 20 second recording capacity.
One person plays the newscaster with a personal mic
One person carries the extra "tapes" and a tripod
Last person can carry a boom mic to get monster audio.

Unlike the photo cameras, the video camera has to be "reloaded" by the person with the extra tapes for multiple shots. If the players set-up the tripod, then they can get extra points.

The team has to have at least one, "News Cast" segment where they set-up with the talking head in-front of the camera.

The team get's extra points similarly to the photo cameras. Monsters, violence, gore and etc.

Then at the end they can splice everything together and give the opportunity to do a voice over.

I understand it's a small dev team (love the game), but I think this would be a fun alternate mode down the road.

I feel like they would have to implement a lot to add vid cams into the game where the system now is basing points off pictures being taken. I'm speaking out of my ass cause i've never made games but i can imagine it'd take a lot more to calculate points real time opposed to snapping a picture and it recognizing it. I just don't see it happening

I completely agree that it probably won't happen. Plus they need to focus on bug fixing and additional content for now.

I'm just thinking out loud, on how a new game mode would be fun.

Actually misread the beginning I do think keeping it into a separate mode is actually a really good Idea. Wouldn't have to worry about calculating any of the picture scores that way.

That is literally "Content Warning" (except the reload tapes).

Honestly, the game would be dead before that could even be implemented and something else would take it's place. Not to mention needing 4 people to make the point of the mode worth it.
