Is there an actual end to the game?

My buddies and I have managed to fill in all the pictures on the wall and did a few more rounds after that. It's gone from 27k to 35k to 27k and back to 35k in the past 4 rounds. Does anyone know if there's an actual end or do you just keep repeating that 27k to 35k cycle?
