So after what you both have writed, there will be no offline mode?
Plus we complain so hard, here and at the devs, but they dont hear us. So avoid it.
Best case scenario is when they finally cease development for it in x amount of years, they leave the entire game in offline mode for us so the modders can keep it alive just like they've been doing with AC with dedicated servers and more
the amount of money for enjoyment is minuscule it's hilarious how some people expect 10 years worth of free updates or expect free game servers to stay running indefinitely for a misesly $30.
don't buy it. move on and go buy another game that has all your requirements. good luck.
Man whiteknighting lies from publishers and proceeds to say "your loss"
The perfect example of why (one of the reasons) gaming is decadent af nowadays but hey, atleast they're unlocking single player features as time goes by because ofc it makes complete sense you need a server authorization to do license test or modifiy a car.
Laughable.
Think of it like Diablo - you can play offline just fine, but when you go online, you have to start over with online progress, which is fine by me.
Or a way like Halo MCC handles things - you can play online with EAC enabled, but the client has to remain pure, or the mode without EAC and you can play mods and whatnot.
You know...i can still watch all my replays in rFactor from back in the day. This isn't possible with these always online games. At the end...they take all of that away and it sucks.
Or when there is a problem, or the servers are down...you can't do much anymore. No replays, no liveries..no progress no nothing.
Heck...even Forza Horizon has an Offline mode.
Please don't do that...i don't want another The Crew.
while i'm sure the devs have their hands full of infinite bug reports/sightings what exactly are the pr team doing to quell concerns?
I will skip this game.
