I dont think this is typical though it should still start up
You also didnt specify your i7
It works good for me on a i5 13600k and rx6800 32gb ddr4
still i get like 2-3x less fps than ACC
Dont be affraid to running very low settings as even like the medium preset has more shadows and lighting going on than say epic on ACC
Also you will probably have to run balanced or performance on FSR or DLSS
You can try setting the game up to run as administrator and disable full screen optimization
in steam browse local files for AC evo right click goto properties compatability tab check the boxes that say run as administrator and disable full screen optimization..
I forgot to mention you right click on the AssettoCorsaEvo.exe .
Google if that is not clear enough instructions lol maybe it will help I feel like it did but not by a lot.

Hello there, this is an issue we're aware of and are investigating, however, we have some potential workarounds that might work for you, They're a bit hit and miss with success so let me know if any of these work for you:
Game not launching
A few things you can try for this.
1. Close Steam, go to your documents folder and delete the ACE folder, then launch Steam and then launch Assetto Corsa EVO.
(You may need to disable OneDrive if you have it enabled whilst you carry out the test)
2. Repair Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable x64 & x86 versions via the official installer, and then reboot. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170#visual-studio-2015-2017-2019-and-2022
3. Check that the AssettoCorsaEVO application in the Steam Apps directory is whitelisted on your firewalls and antivirus applications.
4. Open Controlled Folder Access through file manager or through a windows search. It should be under the Virus & threat protection section of Windows Defender. Click on the section that says “Allow an app through Controlled Folder Access” you then have to press “Add an allowed app” after pressing this choose the “Recently blocked apps” option and find ACE (Asseto Corsa EVO) it should be under that name or something similar.
Thanks for the reply. I tried a couple of the fixes to no avail. I am not as tenacious as some (thousands) of users on here. It's not like I do not have other (working) racing sims to play (like AC1 ACC!). I will wait for a fix. As trusted developers, I am sure you guys will work on this, as it is clear that I am by far not the only person suffering these errors, and you will want to minimise damage as soon as possible (you will not want a 'Solar Crown' on your hands).
I am sorry if I sound negative, as I know you will fix it, and I understand what the term 'early access' means. However, I really do think that the game should have been fully tested, obvious issues resolved, and the game at least *working* before charging hard cash for that access (or in many people's experience non-access).
