I think there is a fault in one of the folders but i don't think we as players can fix it and have to wait till they might notice it and fix it for us. In raceroom my shifter works completely fine but this game ignore's gear 1 for somehow.
You're probably destorying your gearbox (yes, trasmission damage is modeled).
Doublecheck your bindings and calibrate the clutch, if you're on manual.
The latter fixed the problem for me, i stopped destroying my transmission :)
Did you check the companion software for the shifter as previously mentioned?
It works fine for me, I just clicked 1st gear and put it into first and it was recognised, then rinse and repeat for 2 through reverse.
I would if it allowed me to, but it doesn't hence the topic. Again on every other game i can bind the shifter without any issues but this game doesn't allow it for some reason.
Yes but it didn't work sadly.
t500rs gear shift tab - map shifter gear 1 till 7 and shifter gear reverse for reverse gear. button layout shows 0-6 and 7.
press apply, done.
you can check if your inputs bind correctly by ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ into a gear and the gear number start blink yellow in the menue
