Assetto Corsa EVO

Assetto Corsa EVO

Is an 8gb 3070 enough for this game ?
I've bought and will test but asking for further info. Cheers

I run an 3060ti 8gb at medium settings and am getting 55-65fps with 14 cars on the grid.

Thankyou.
My 4070 Super (12GB VRAM) is using 11GB with the texture pool size on high. Haven't tried on Ultra.
I have 6600 8GB, If I'm single on the track, I can get 40 to 60 fps. Depending on the car, track. In race it drops down to 30 to 40 fps with like 10 car's. It's still playable. Hopefully Kunos optimises the cars and tracks to run lower end hardware.

With 4070 Super and 5700X3D @ 3440x1440 with all settings maxed except for texture pool size, DLSS Quality and 2x MSAA:
100 - 127 fps solo practice
80 - 90 fps default quick race.
In other sims like AC and ACC I get 200fps no problem with everything maxed. When I had a 3700x paired with the 4070 Super I got nearly 100 fps less with everything maxed. Sims in general seem CPU hungry, and this new Kunos engine seems VRAM hungry as well. I got the feeling it wants 16GB+ to really open up. Until optimizion patch comes anyways.

Hell, it works on a 8gb GTX1070 still. Also isn't the recommend GFX card an RTX2070 though?

Can I ask you for info how it looks when it comes to FPS without DLSS?

With DLSS off, I get 90fps solo practice, and only 57 - 59 fps in a Quick Race when there's a lot of cars around me. The VRAM usage is still at 11GB, and the RAM usage sits just under 16GB, which seems weird to me because I have 32GB of RAM and it looks like it doesn't want to use more than 16GB like it thinks that's all there is... or it's just a coincedence.
Using a 3070Ti

Having loads of perf issues. 4k is ok when using DLSS (quality) can get around 60 FPS on high settings but I'm having loads of texture loading issues with track textures and really bad aliasing on power lines. Tried 1440p to see if the texture issue resolves but is still there (I have the texture quality pool on high)

I've also tried running @1440p with no DLSS but the aliasing issue is still there @4k without DLSS the FPS tanks to unplayable rates.

GPU usage remains at 99% regardless of settings

Thank you very much for answers mates.

When it comes to RAM usage and texture loading issues disabling HLOD (if it's possible) should help if you have more than 16GB of RAM (at least when game uses UE like ACC, so it could be false with ACE but you can give it a try).

I have a feeling that the VRam consumption is very dynamic. I have a RTX 3060 Ti 8GB, and run High setting at 1080p, and it shows 7.5 GB of VRam is used, or a bit more.

Not sure about the texture pool size though, I have to check.
