check your antivirus program, ac evo is trying to write a log file into windows documents folder which is not liked by antivirus programs. When the file creation was blocked I had same not starting behaviour like shown in your video.

I turned off windows security - nothing changed

For me, the solution was to delete the logfiles. I Just went to documents and deleted the whole section called ACE, ITS Not the Game, ITS Just the settings and logfiles. The ONLY Things, that you have to so all new IS to redo the settings

Could also be if you are using OneDrive as depending on Settings Your Documents could be on there or backed up there. Also it has been found (mine was this) that the Protected Folder Access Rules are stopping the ACEVO exe from accessing a protected folder, just add it to the Protected Folder Access list and game will start. I have had a few games previously have this issue, they should be added automatically on Install but for some reason they do not.

See my answer above, it will be Protected Folder Access stopping it from creating the file.

mine does the exact same thing and ive deleted the folder probably 10 times by now and it still wont open. and ive tried every thing else

same here you are not the only one, i have tried all the ''hot fixes'' too. seems we will just have to wait as painful and annoying as it is

after 2 days i finally figured my problem out. It was One Drive that was not letting the game create the ACE folder. I went in and stopped the backup of JUST my documents folder and it started right up. FINALLY I CAN PLAY!!!!
