You don't need the line to improve. If anything it will hinder your growth.

Do play how you want, but you'll get better if you just learn without it.

yea but the line only stays white there are no colours at all

Would normally be an option for whether not to have colours. But as above, the difficulty is that if you have the racing line turned on then it is easy to just stare at the racing line and not actually learn the layout (or landmarks around the course).
The racing line only hurts you. Learn to not use it and your driving will improve

some people dont want to spend all month on one track to learn it, and only play solo or with mates, so the line helps in single mode.

You don't need to spend a month on a track. Just don't drive like a moron for a few laps and pay attention. Its not hard. I promise you it's not helping you be a better driver

That's what braking markers are for as well as the colored curbs. The track gives you the clues, you just have to pay attention

yea but this wasn't the question either so it's about if it's supposed to be like this or if they add it later on in the game, it's an option in the game and i want to use the option.

nah im with the OP, if they dont bring in the dynamic racing line from ACC the online lobbies will be carnage, most casual players cant race even WITH the line, it also helps you as a better driver to understand not everyone in a lobby is experienced and they will most likely follow that line and in many cases brake far too early or late. its a win win for everyone

even with the dynamic line in acc people dont generally drive with any spacial awareness, they very rarely yield and clean racing is rare af, it wil ljust be worse without dynamic line

Well it kinda is, for someone new to the game or racing all together, its teaches an ideal racing line.
but as you learn it can be disabled.
There are few things I hate more in driving games then track memorization. I don't need the lines to dictate an ideal line or braking point to me, I need a co-driver to remind me what the heck is over the blind crest. That's what I use racing lines for.

Turns circuit racing from a tedious chore to an enjoyable experience for me.
you never learn to drive by your own if all you learn is to follow a colored line.......
gen alpha?
