One good thing about ACE...

I've not played it in a while but after a couple more hours on ACE in vr with it's flat tones and low res and the moronic hud elements floating in the car I booted it up and had a whizz round Brands Hatch and Bathurst. Man, it popped, just looked glorious next to this hastily knocked up cash flow necessary early release.

Mucho kidos and thanls to Peter, Illya and the hundreds who have made AC still be a great looking and flexible game so many years on.

yup, and I've never appreciate CM's settings page until I experienced new Ui release on rF2 and now the EVO.

as far as I know, you can move the hud elements to wherever you like up to certain limits, but I don´t see the option to modify the size and remove.
Also, apparently some of the guys you are praising, are working on ACE, taking advantage of the cash flow you mentioned
And also, always remember there is no modding, without the base game first.

So, for one all these mods is based on the finished title of Assetto Corsa which also obviously was a 'just cash grab' only to be fixed by the modders. Second, EVO is not a finished title. Third, nothing will stop the people you mentioned to touch up EVO once it is finished, released and the developers have moved on to their next title if it does not meet up to the requirements of you and your ilk.

Your choice on what to play mate. Your choice.

I bought the early release on the strength of Kunos stating clearly 'VR ready from Day 1' It isn't. It's at best at the stage where devs should have been thoroughly testing that what content WAS going to be released for purchase was working.

They originally said release in Spring and t shows that even this early release needed more time spent on it.
