Assetto Corsa EVO

Is early access worth buying (from a price perspective)?
I almost never pay the full price for a game, I always wait for the discounts, but as this game will continue to expand over the years I imagine that the price of the final game will be much higher and it will take a long time before the game receives a significant discount (cheaper than it is now), so I consider buying now to be a good deal, as I'm not willing to wait several years, at most 2.
However, there are a few things I'm not sure about:
Firstly, when I buy an early access game, am I buying the whole game, in the sense that I'll have access to the final release or is it like a demo and when the game is released I'll have to pay extra to get access to the full game?
Secondly: I understand that the freeroam map will be released gradually, is there any information on whether these expansions will be free or DLC?

For the price it is at 20 percent off till the end of the month it's worth buying even if you don't play it much as there's going to be at least five content drops with tracks and cars to build it to Version 1.0, when you load into the game it shows you a roadmap of whats coming, could be 5 cars and a track per every 14 days if the V 1.0 drops in April
Version 1 is for november. The game is very bad right now. I guess you can buy it now,
If you buy Early Access you will get everything that will be in the 1.0 release at a discount. You will not have to pay again for the 1.0 release as you will already paid for the title.
I think its going to be worth it in the long run. It actually drives really good just has some performance issues and needs the bugs worked out like most early access titles...

The main part is everything they put out before the release is included with this early access purchase but they will probably up the price to 50-70$ on release.

I doubt it will be at this price again for a couple years other then maybe another sale while its still in Early Access.

Its really immersive to drive though and idk personally I will probably spend a decent amount of time just bombing around trying things out, I think online is supposed to happen relatively soon its the 3rd update in the road map looks like 2-3 months also more cars and tracks before that.

Also kunos is really doing good putting out multiple patches already so they are really on top of it and I really appreciate that.

Yeah I bought this just to get a lower price, probably will not play until it is actually optimized well.
Yes, but see it as an investment and as an encouragement to Kunos. You will eventually get version 1.0 without any further payments.
The price will increase over time as more content gets added during early access.

The official site should let you know what's included with early access up to 1.0, there's also a roadmap in game which gives some basics on the timeline.

Early Access purchase will include multiplayer (when it's added a few major updates from now), open world free roam (ETA summer), and by fall with 1.0 the game should have 15 tracks and 100 cars.

They did say in interviews they plan to add 5 more tracks for free after launch, but anything after that will likely be paid DLC.

As for the free roam map around the Nurburgring - when it's first added, it will be incomplete and a smaller radius around the track, their plan is to build it out over time to the full 1600km² size they mentioned. I don't know if those expansions will be paid, I assume not so as to keep everyone on the same page w/multiplayer in free roam, but I don't think they've definitely said much about how they'll be delivering those open world updates yet.
