Xbox Series X Controller Vibrating Endlessly
Using an Xbox Series X controller (wireless) and for some reason the rumble / force feedback / vibration, isn't working with the game.

Instead, what seems to happen is after starting a track the controller will endlessly rumble a weird pattern with spaces between said pattern for a few seconds.

This continues to happen even after closing the game and I have to pop the batteries out and back in to stop it.

Anyone have a fix? it makes playing impossible with false force feedback.

I don't have a wheel yet, unfortunately rip

Is no one else having this issue?

Not that I have seen - no. I use a wired Xbox One PDP controller and have no issues. Have you played around with any of the controller settings? Maybe change a few things up, move the sliders for FFB on DirectInput tab and see if that has an effect. Could also be that proper support for the Series X controllers haven't been added / properly tested. Try testing it with another controller if you have one (or buy a 3rd party one)?
This happened in Forza Motorsport 8 and to fix it (I'm using an xbox one controller) I
removed the drivers in the device manager then unplugged the dongle from the pc and plugged it back in and never had a problem since. Some computers just say No sometimes ;)

Tried the game again this time with this setting and seems to be working for now

Steam> Settings> Controller> Enable Steam Input For Xbox Controllers (turn on)

Yes, have the non stop vibrating issue, with xbox controller, even when steam is shut down! Have to pull the battery to stop it. Will try the setting above cheers.
