VR USERS DON'T UPDATE TO WINDOWS 11 v. 24H2 - OpenXR is Not Compatible
After updating to v. 24H2, I found out that it is not compatible with OpenXR. If possible go back to v. 23H2.

My main concern, is that if the developers only make VR possible through OpenXR and more people update to v 24H2, VR will be unplayable for them. I hope stage 2 of Early Access addresses this major hiccup.

I have no problems running it with 24H2.

It's not OpenXR that breaks with 24H2, it's specifically the Windows Mixed Reality platform that loses support because MS thinks making your hardware useless without standalone drivers is ideal. Other kits using OpenXR works fine.
My OpenXR said my OS was not compatible. I was on v. 24H2. I'm a noob when it comes to computers, but I also found an article that speaks to this.

From this article.
Windows Mixed Reality devices are not supported with Windows 11, version 24H2 and newer.

yesterday i saw a youtube talking about this update in windows 10 and his advivce whas just buy a new VR headset aka spent 1000 euro, so stupid some people. But i tried to switch from windows mixed reality as OpenXR runtime but the VR keeps crashing then, when OpenXR runtime is set to Steam VR stutter screens and around 3 fps. Without VR the game runs fine on my 11900k and 3080TI, at 1080p at ultra settings stable 100fps. So can someone tell me how to install a OpenXR runtime? SteamVR keeps says when i switch to SteamVR as OpenXR runtime that no OpenXR API runtime is installed.

What kits work for you? I'm at a loss...
