I have some questions before buying.

I've seen some mitigated reviews but I'm sure Kunos will be quick to optimise the games but there are more fundamental questions I have because I haven't followed much the development of AC3.

- Is it true what some users are reporting that the game needs to be online at all time to play, even on single player sessions?
- Will there be modding allowed later on?
- Will there be some online regulation such as IR to give a lower rating to reckless drivers on public server?
- How the game runs on older hardware? I'm on a ryzen 7 5700G 8 cores and 6600xt with 32gb. This pc is around 3 years old.

always online, servers still not on, so as a result the ONLY thing you have access to that they advertised SHOULD be in game now is practice and quick race. no xp/money/progression/buying or customizing cars etc

modding, in some capcity is confirmed for when its fully released. not before. no details on exactly how it will work. sounds like "approved" mods only, through in game browser, possible paid mods like how bethesda tried (and failed) doing

they have partnered with simgrid for official/leagues races. similar structure to LFM/iracing etc

game runs terrible. same gpu with 64gb of ram and a 5700x3d. even at the lowest settings with fsr on performance struglles with even 30fps with constant stutters, yet still maxing out vram

OP, Yes modding will be available, always online is the standard for copy protection these days so I'd say when they iron out the first day server issues it will be always on.

My CPU is 6 years old, MOBO the same with 32GB RAM and a 4070TI Super(16GB) and it runs great (For Early Access)

Ok for one, f*cking read OPs question you aborted fetus. Was he asking how it runs on a 4070ti? Yeah, didnt think so. Two, a 6600xt is in line with not just the minumum, but what the devs themselves recomend. Three, you shouldnt need a nearly thousand dollar gpu just to be able to run this one game at a halfway playable framerate. Thats complete lunacy. And the fact that my "dirty lil peasent homeless person" of a gpu gets 3x the franerate on cyberpunk on high, at naitive 1440p then this game gets at the lowest settings, with fsr set to the lowest setting, upscalling to even 1080p, is a crystal clear sign that something is seriously wrong somewhere.

Lol, that’s definitely great, but what’s next? Dude asked about his specs and you came here just to bother people with your own. that game doesn’t work nice to almost 50% of people. It can be work good on 4060, but flickering and stuttering on 4090. It’s called optimisation and it’s totally bad for now.

I guess I'm gonna give it some time to bake a lil more.

I've heard mention about buying new cars in the menu. Do you buy them using game credits by winning races or are they DLCs? I didn't like the AC menu showing the few DLCs I didn't had as incentive to buy more all the time it was annoying.
