Assetto Corsa EVO

Assetto Corsa EVO

really bad performance with amd radeon gpus
literally in the title, i have friend who owns a 3060ti and is playing fine, smooth, but me with 5700xt the performance is atrocious, and yes, i know that my card is slower than his but it shouldn't be this bad honestly. So my question is: is it just me or a lot of you (especially amd users) have this kind of problem?

and also i wanted to add, vram usage is crazy weird in the game. 8gb is not enough, even for 1080p.

I have a 7800xt and while it runs ok on ultra settings and triple screens at 1440p (without FSR) there are many graphical issues and bugs. Average FPS is reported at 40 but it didn't feel quite that slow, I get 70 in ACC with upscaling/FSR turned on

1. When I load into a track the screen is black other than the UI. I have to change the graphics settings to make it render. This happens every time I load into a new track.
2. At one point I got a red overlay over 80% of the screen, I had to restart the game to get rid of it
3. If I turn on up scaling the game is unplayable as there is a terrible blurring/smearing from anything that moves, so anything outside of the car.

Also the right wing mirror doesn't render anything

hmm... so yeah i think it has to with drivers and their engines current state, well i hope it will get better and i believe in Kunos that they will sort it out(desperate).

I have a 7700x cpu, 32 gig gddr5 6000 cl 30 paired with a 6900xt that has a binned water chip (6900xtxh) and can only achieve 66 fps . 5760 by 1080p triple monitors ultra lowest setting. It is not just you. Looks like we need optimization. Lots of optimization. Tons of optimization. Then we probably need more optimization. Good luck with that Kunos

I am having the black screen also. I have to turn the graphics settings to make it render.

Im running a 7900XT with a good CPU and I'm getting 40FPS at the start of races with rain at medium graphics and 1440P - Not very happy so I've refunded - Plus im getting horrible rendering on mirrors, barriers, crowds etc, its like a black fuzzy mess. And for good measure the AI is the worst ive ever seen!!

3060ti @1440p runs smooth with up to 10 ai cars on track, i tried it with 20 and it nosedived to 12.
There is work to be done but i'm sure Kunos will fix the performance issues.
I have a 7800XT and it runs ultra at 90 FPS in 4K

RTX 3080ti horrible performance too. I hope its just EA caused. If i need a 2000€ GPU to play a game thats not looks better than Forza motosport then Assetto Corsa will be the next Fail in a long List (Worst ever is TDU Sol) . Pls Fanboys, stop defending with arguments like. I have a 4090 or so. 4090 is insanly overkill for a game like this and just for Rich! Need this kind of GPU just playing a Car Game! Its Stupid! Even in Early Acces for a Studio like Kunos with this Know How its not acceptalbe! Perfmormance are a game killer for me!

What's the FPS on the grid with 30 cars and rain? I bet you don't reach 30FPS
