For everyone where the game crashes shortly after starting
You have to go to the documents folder and look for ACE.
You have to delete all data and folders in the ACE folder.
Then restart the game and it will work again.

there are no any data there expect empty log.txt

already try delete that as well but it does not work

I have the same problem but already reinstalled, somehow it didn't start after I activated online mode and restarted, since then it did start but crashed the second I could even see the main menu.
Any suggestions?

In your antivirus setting make an exception for the assetto corsa install folder. In avast it is a ransomware exception, That allowed me to launch it

Mine CTD after update, Norton AV, I managed permissions to allow AC EVO now it runs again...

I launch the game from Steam, and everything seems fine. But when I go to race, the game quits. DLSS option also disappears once I go into Triple Screen mode

If the game does not launch after install and you have RANSOMEWARE PROTECTION activated with CONTROLLED FOLDER ACCESS in Windows Defender/Security on a Windows 11 PC, then add AC EVO to the allowed programms with "Allow and app through Controlled folder access" option below or go into your protections history and look for "AssettoCorsaEVO.exe" that wants to get access to "%userprofile%\Documents". Check the dropdown and select "Allow on Device" and AC EVO should work fine now.

Yes the installer will tell you to reboot the computer when the repair is done.

GUYS.
If tinkering with WIndows Defender and reinstalling C++ redistributable doesn't work for you - check if your Documents folder is stored locally. Mine was synced via OneDrive despite I've seemingly turned it off and uninstalled the service itself long ago. Worth checking out!
