H-Shifter not working

Properly shifting gears with my external shifter works from 1-2 gear but just stays on neutral 100% of the time after switching to 3rd. This also occurs after switching on automatic clutch. Using Logitech G920 and the Logitech H-Shifter

I'm still leaning towards it being a bug in the game. I have a shifter from g27 with usb adapter. In all other games like rF2, AMS2, EA WRC everything works fine. Moreover, when I assign gears in ACE, the assigned button is not displayed, but everything works in the race... For a few minutes, and finally resets to neutral.

same here, i can't find a solution to make my SHH shifter work. in H mode, i can aassign gears but that's all. Not working in game... I will wait some updates.

same problem on fanatec h pattern shifter ... 5th and 6th gear get mixed up even after re setting map its almost as if game cant differentiate between the two gears.... works fine in other assetto corsa games

Same issues here. Fanatec CSL DD with shifter. Everything maps fine, but in the game it isn't working right. It seems to shift fine going up through the gears, but first attempt to downshift, none of the gears work. Paddle shifters work fine. Will look for updates.

Press and Constant don't matter, trick is that manual clutch has to be used and it doesn't matter at all if auto clutch is enabled, that is broken and doesn't make a difference, even in this scenario problem is that as soon as you miss to use a clutch and shift without it, it will get broken and from that point it's always on neutral.

Tried the game on moza shifter and it works perfectly fine

My cheap aliexpress shifter that I rewired with an arduino, so I could connect it to my cheap aliexpress hand brake with only one usb cable, works with out fault :)

Does the same thing for Moza shifter, when I put it into 3rd it goes onto neutral but when I put it into 5th it goes into 3rd and 7th which is weird, all my top gears except 1st but 3,5 and 7 are acting up

the auto-clutch assist doesn't seem to work, either. i noticed the same thing when trying to use an H-pattern shifter without a clutch in the first AC, too.

Same issues has anyone else with the Logitech G29, won't change to Press, won't get into gear 1 in game, just stays in neutral

I just recalibrated my G25, in profiler. Started game, switched off Auto Clutch and Auto Clutch on Start and ran 5 laps of Bathurst in the Camaro without gearbox going into Neutrals, and only fully using Clutch on upshifts, less than half downshifts used Clutch.
Only stopped as i hit a wall and damaged the front right. So the H shifter seems to work fine now, could barely get through 3 corners with Auto Clutch on and Auto Clutch on start on without gearbox giving up even if I used pedal Clutch.

I tried reproducing this with my setup, and it looks right so far.

I can't get the setup page to hold 'Press' settings no matter what I try, including a full re-calibration. With Autoclutch and Autoclutch on start disabled I ran the Mazda at Imola, abusing the gearbox with little and then no clutch use - after 2 laps individual gears started to go, and after 4 laps I had a box of neutrals. Return to pits, straight back out, gearbox fine. Drove it as if it was my real-world car, with proper clutch use and no powershifting, and ran 15 laps with no problems.

no problem with fanatec shifter. use the paddles on cars with paddles and use the shifter on hand shifting cars.

I had similar issues. The fix for me was to invert the clutch axis along with the accelerator and brake axies. I didn't realize it hadn't been inverted because the UI made it very difficult to tell.
