same here but seems odd that its not speed linked like other games.
At the moment it is single colour. I suspect they will introduce the speed guide later.

Yeah the ideal line is useless atm.
The needs to be a system to help with identifying braking points.
I get that the line is supposed to be colored, but why do you guys even use it? Have you not ran hundreds if not thousands of laps on these tracks already in the past? The braking points should be second nature to all drivers, but I guess the beginners will need it, so it does need to be fixed.

First of all, not everyone is an expert. People of all skill levels are going to try this game. Also, there are people that have disabilities that make the memorization of such things difficult or impossible. That's why the assists exist in the first place, and no one should be talked down to or treated as lesser because of that. The assists are there to make the game accessible to more people. Just because you don't have the need for it doesn't mean it's the same for everyone.

My advice to anyone driving sims is to always turn off the ideal line. The best thing about a sim is the simulation of realism and in real driving/racing there's no ideal lines on the ground, we have to use the distance brake markers on the side of the track before corners. For that extra element of realism we should get used to using the brake markers in sims too :summer2019vehiclehare::summer2019flag:
