what about it? sorry didnt understand the issue. Like I said earlier, I'm just making it work for bare-bones playing. I'm not setting the cars or anything...yet
Nice man, now is so much better thanks
PS: i'm using a steering angle of 540, is it too much?
car way too sensitive when i press down on the left stick by accident it locks me into looking back also
I don't think it matters right now... i guess. The automatic steering lock is yet to be implemented. Do whats more confortable to you. I like longer locks on road cars, so im doing 900
what do you mean turn off all the sliders?
So choose Xinput Controller, then click on steering and properties should then turn white allowing access, same goes for brake and throttle settings.
In Properties (while selecting the Steering in the bind section) :
Deadzone - 0% (or whatever allow your hardware without any stick drift).
Saturation - 100%.
Curvature - 20%, the response curve of the stick.
Only 3 options in the Settings sub-menu seem to matter for gamepad right now.
Speed Sensitivity - 96%.
Steering Filter - 78%.
Steering Assist Weigth - 0% (this eliminate any assist on the steering input, make it match your input and provide the best responsiveness accuracy).
Rest in the Settings section currently does not seem to matter for gamepad (outside of Vibrations, but this is up to you).
Do you happen to know if it's possible to somehow add a modifier button, like it was with shift in acc?
I saw something about a modifier in the settings, but the button isn't set there
There is the option to do so (last tab where you bind is called Shift Modifier), but currently it does not seem to accept any input, at leats not on my end. It works with keyboard, not practical though.
I know its not realistie but I do love looking at my car from all angles while hot-lapping
Do I need to touch anything in the properties of Trottle and brakes?
There are also some dead zones set there, not clear saturation and curvature values
me too and i have the same problem...but it's the same as AC/ACC...right analog stick doesn't work in Kunos games...AC has the free look because modders has implemented with content managaer...
the funny thing is that if you bind the look command it recognise the rigth analog stick but ingame it doesn't do anything. xD
