Assetto Corsa EVO

Assetto Corsa EVO

Gamepad settings
Theres someone who is trying ACEvo with gamepad?

Some settings to share?

Because the steer is too sensitive and "quick" and i can't use the right analog stick to look around in the cockpit camera.

Control settings are still a bit overcomplicated, IMO.

The base x360 gamepad settings (why x360 in 2025?? xD) that the game offers are decent but absolutely not perfect.

I tried the dualsense too, that seems to be recognised but the vibration doesn't work (but maybe if i use the ximput emulation from steam options it could work...i will try it)

I need some advices to have a more fluid steering animation...

Thx

yeah, I can help.
go to properties and settings on the xinput option for the steering axis
deadzone 2%
curvature 50%
speed sensitivity 78%
steering filter 40%
steering assist weigth 40%

important: turn off every (is a slider) option for all the axis

you can also bind or unbind at the properties tab for the buttons

Tried it with PS4 controller. I'm actually very happy. Was able to control the car well. Kept everything at default settings.

How to start a car from pit? I can’t figure out how to set the clutch.

Ok thx man.

Is the right stick working for you? Because i have the same problem with ACC than doesn't recognise it and i can't turn the look inside the cockpit.

thx

PS: there's no steering help, i noticed...maybe it's that the reason why the steering seems so quick and not smooth?

I dont use the right stick for anything in racing games, so I didnt bother to set it up. I'll try later... the first AC didn't used that for camera control, maybe is the same situation in AC EVO. btw I felt a TON of steering help even wiithout a dedicated option for it.

This game is soo early access. I really can't judge the steering options right now. I could just make it work kinda like the old AC.
