Maybe my expectations where too high, but it's hard to keep it in check when they write things like "visual masterpiece", "immersive soundscape" and "photorealistic experience" on their website. I'm well aware that it's an early access so I was fully prepared for missing content and lots of bugs. However, the claims above come from the early access page where they describe what to expect from this early access release. We've got an explanation of the missing cars so that will most likely be sorted during the coming days (I was a 1st day buyer of MSFS 2024 so I know about backend issues 🙂)

But missing cars aside, where is the "immersive soundscape"? All I heard was something that could have come from a game released in 1995. And the "photorealistic experience"? Nah, don't think so.

I'll save my money until they release v1.0 and hopefully they live up to their promises at that point.

This is not early access. It barely mets alpha stage. I remember when ACC was EA with only 1 car and track it was fully playable and enjoyable. This one is not.

100% THIS. How people acknowledge it's early access then ♥♥♥♥♥ about it being early access is beyond me. I guess it's just fun to complain and crap on something huh?

If you want a polished, finished game WAIT UNTIL RELEASE. It's THAT simple.

So yes, OP should refund as clearly he can't understand what he just paid for. Saying you understand then immediately demonstrating you don't is bizarre to me.

And as expected everyone says something like "don't buy early access then". What you guys don't seem to get is that I'm referring to what the developer them selves have told us to expect in this early access version. I don't expect anything else than what they say we should expect, but do you honestly find the game to have a immersive soundscape and that it gives you a photorealistic experience??

Early access is a functioning game which is still being worked on
Not a completely broken game which you pay for and hope it gets fixed in the futrure

I totally get your post and feel your pain. But look at the replies. Cheerleaders galore and devs rely on it knowing they don't make any money from release all the money comes from dlc/mtx. I agree though. Games used to have to work on launch or your game was doa. Now it's band aid on top of band aids until you can't tell what the original wound was. Gamers are just now simpletons. Gone are days of thinking critically and forming sound opinions. Now it's sunken cost fallacy suffering pac man consumers who can't handle anything negative about their precious new toy. Good luck but the steam forums aren't going to be a haven for criticism.

i know what EA is and i can accept bugs and some unoptimised stuff, but a company like Kunos who worked on AC1 and ACC could surely put more effort into their first EA Release to be fair.

And yes, it's graphically and soundscape-wise kind of underwhelming. Maybe the sportscar sound better if we get access to them, but the street-cars sound kinda Meeeh. It's far away from "immersive soundscape" LOL

AC1 with Mods looks like NextGen compared to AC EVO, like ps4 gen (no joke)
