The bigger reason is due to controller mismatch: gamepads vs wheels in this case, gamepads vs mouse and keyboard in shooters.
Obviously by control type. And you should be able to opt out from crossplay totally
Still, having it won't hurt. In niche games it increases the chances of finding a server
Absolutely not, because you have gamepad users on PC and wheel users on consoles.
ACC allows gamepads and wheels on the same lobby.
32, while better than 16, is still way below what I experienced in ACC, with a grid of 60+, 3 drivers each for the real endurance events.
What kind of input someone uses is less of a gamebreaker for me, as long as there is safety rating system installed, it should be fine, and you have to learn to read your competitors on track anyhow.
But I fear the mentality shift way more, we already have toxic people in this discussion forum thingy that obviously come from a console and/or arcade background, that think this is just the same kind of game but on "Very Hard" difficulty.
So I'd rather not, and definitely not just to boost the numbers.
