Hi, will there be mouse steering in AC EVO?
I enjoy mouse steering and I hope that it will be available in AC EVO.

It´s a sim. Get a wheel. No need to push for stuff that creates online crash kids.

I own a wheel and pedals. I also appreciate that through CM on AC1, I can switch between wheel and keyboard/mouse for testing mod edits quickly without needing to move my rig back and forth to access my keyboard and mouse easily.

Also, while wheel I'm obviously quickest, on mouse I'm quicker than a lot of people... not to mention people should be allowed to play a game how they want?

Just feels a bit elitist to hate on someone simply asking for something to return from AC1 that they personally used.

Idk if this is trolling or....driving on m/kb in ANY game is complete trash. I hate it even on games like gta. And the absolute minumum you should be using a controller, although honestly for a game like this you really need to be using a wheel. I mean, ACs whole thing is its excellent handling and ffb models. Thats what makes the series stand out over all the other racing games out there. By not using a wheel you are kind of missing out on the biggest reason to buy these games. Otherwise, its just "another driving game" with less content.

I can send you a clip of me drifting, sim racing etc it's really not hard and its fun if you know how to use it.

Before I got racing wheel, I played like 7 hours with mouse steering and to be honest it the best compromise for keyboard players and the experience was quite good. People who trash on it are weird and the argument "duh ma 2000€ racing rig is supa realistic you pleb" is laughable because it isnt. All you get for that money is fancy motor that is little bit better at making force feedback more noticable, "But raizen direct drive wheels CAN BREAK YOUR ARMS! ITS HYPER REALISTIC JUST LIKE REAL RACECARS!" yea cool then why dont you buy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for 2000€, repair it and start in amateur race leagues? You can crash it too and its waaayyy more realistic than your rig lol. Also your avg. G920 with H-Shifter is more than enough. Really. It about immersion and immersion is not always 100% pure realism.

I mean, if youve had the paitence to put the time into getting used to steering with a mouse, and have cherry picked clips where you got lucky, as opposed to staying consistent, thats fine. But that still dont change the bulk if my post. By using m/kb, you can not be consistent, your throttle and brakes are still just an off/on switch so you have no throttle or brake control, and you are still losing out on what makes AC such a good game to begin with, the ffb and handling models.

You simply can not have the same control in a car on m/kb as you can with a wheel or even a decent controller, as you are severley limited by your hardware. You can not overcome severe hardware limitations with so called "skill".

I mean, if all you can afford is a g29 thats fine. Hey its great that you have one at all, its a big plus. However two things. Dont sit here and act like playing any racing game, let alone a SIM is viable on m/kb. Controllers are even highly questionable on these types of games. Also, dont talk and make assumptions about something you early havent tried, or are just bitter because you cant afford one.

I also have a g29, with the shifter. It was good for the price, best bang for your buck and best way for someone on a tight budget to dip their toes into wheel territory. However i can tell you, after upgrading my shifter to a VNM one, and my wheel to the simagic alpha mini, there is zero comparrison. The higher end wheel makes all the difference. It makes differences in areas you would never expect. Between the shifter, wheel base and upgraded pedals, it really does make the logitech feel like a cheap toy.

Thats not a jab at people running logitechs. Thats really the best way to compare the 2. I still have my g29 setup on a spare rig, so i can still have side by side comparisions between the 2, as well as everyone else who has tried them can. The difference is night and day.

I have done 1.47.9 monza in ACC with mouse steering so u have to consider people which can be fast enough to pass wheel drivers mf

You think u own the whole world and everybody must follow ur rules and orders. U ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mf in top of comments which one says "buy a whell cheapass it is a sim ", yeah ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ if he were on ur life standarts he were bought a whell right now. On ur country it can be 50$, but on other it can be 2000k money for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cheap wheel which has 90 degree support. World is not only europa and america.
People being negative about the inclusion of mouse steering in AC EVO should consider the fact many disabled gamers including myself can't physically use a controller or a wheel and pedals. Me and many other disabled people would not have been able to play AC or ACC if mouse steering hadn't been available. I really hope Kunos will eventually include mouse steering in AC EVO, and I hope everyone, whatever your ability level, supports its inclusion.
