I think you would need to remove the whole ACE folder there are detailed instructions in the discord if you want to try and save your settings but honestly if your having issues you might just want to skip that and remove it all.
I would also maybe just try to uninstall or remove w.e is there and start over.
I actually have a pretty full drive so I could not even install the update I had to uninstall the game to make room to be able to re-download and install the game with the update.... lol
steam has been tossing me asinine numbers at this games updates for a while, I figured it was some visual glitch, probably was, but a corrupted download for some reason now wont let it re install.
deleted the ace folder and will try again, I changed my wheel since the last time i tried playing the game anyway so its not a major deal.
no idea what the hell this was all about, this game seems kind of cured on our hardware.
problem is kind of solved, I installed it on a drive that had 2tb of free space and freed up space so I could install the game 4x over, and there was still a problem, only with this game though.
no idea what the issue was, but its as of now resolved.
I guess it is time to uninstall it once more, and await patiently for another content drop.
(Because yeah, I miss my Lamborghini Diablo VT, Ferrari 550 Maranello, and Jaguar XJ220)
Unistalled game too. I tried to open a Steam ticket. I hope the can help us. If they do, I'll paste the solution here.
clear download cache, go again and its fine, I kind of think there is a hiccup on valves side or the isps in-between along with no great way for valve to work around the issue.
because it happened on 2 computers, 3 drives, i'm probably less concerned with it than I would otherwise be.
I have simply uninstalled Steam and installed it again and now it works! No more Corrupted Data or anything else!
ill do that as a worst case, its always a pain in the ass re setting everything up.
heres hoping the problem was cache junk and a hiccup on their end.
