Competitive's suggestion

Hi,

First, I'm sorry about the mistakes because this is not my main language. That's said, let's go talk about a topic that worry me and really hope they'll do something about that.

So, I like to drive in sim to cruise, practice but mainly drift & competitive as many other drivers, but as you can see, there is a multiple website that organize races and events with points system etc.. I really enjoy it but the biggest problem is that there is a lot so the community is splitted into different website and sometimes you can race in a category that you enjoy a bit less cause of lack of players and in this situation you'll race against 4/5 guys with not obviously the same rank, really higher or the reverse.

Let's talk about a racing game that has another system, thinking of IR in case you didn't see it comes... You launch the, wanted to say game but it's more a launcher than other, anyway, and you have a lot of leagues/races/practices at the same place, so every players searching for a race will be there, offering balanced races 24h/24 7/7 and if you're in the standing the first, you're the first of all, not the first of WSS or whatever that means less.

We all heard they wanted to be on SimGrid and I'm afraid then we'll be splitted into different website and not be able to have great races with a lot of people, not be able to race @ 2.00AM cause there is only 2/3 guys connected but you did already two races with them etc...

I could continue to expand this topic but I think you got it ;)

Must say that I gave feedback on E.A. & added a message talking about that in their suggestion's link, if some of you think the same, maybe with more messages like mine, if they really hear what players says, they can do a proper competitive mode for us.

The problem with people who are "competitive" is they generally aren't.

So they need some system to split people up so that people who are faster than them aren't in the race.

That's the reason for 'ratings' etc. I guess there's a little bit of filtering out people who crash etc.

But that's why all the websites exist.

Of course if Kunos create another one they've split it further, i.e they cannot be like another game that restricts where you can play MP - so they can only add to the number of places to race not reduce it to 1.

Indeed, by creating another MP game Kunos will split the player base because people in AMS2, LMU, AC1, ACE, IR etc can't race against each other. That's just the way it is.

But, if you want some kind of 'ranking' system to pick who to race against then you're not really competitive. It's like when Jenson Button was in F1 he had to race against the other F1 drivers - he couldn't say "Well I'm not at good so create another race for me that I can win"
