hey guys. Sorry the update is taking so long.. we are doing a LOT of changes in response to the feedback you have been offering since EA launch. But the new release is looking really packed with changes, improvements, optimization and content. Just a little bit of patience... we'll an official communication coming next week (hopefully) but yeah.. a little bit of patience please."

"First off, a huge thank you for your patience during this recent stretch of radio silence.

We went quiet for a good reason, we took your feedback on board and wanted to make sure it was reflected in the next update.

As we worked through it, we decided it made more sense to roll that update into our next big roadmap milestone, so everything lines up better.

We’ll be sharing a proper update with you very soon to explain where things are headed and clear up a few things around the topics you've raised.

Stay tuned!"

So looks like multiplayer takes precedence. Shame. Was looking forward to a better single player experience in an Assetto Corsa title. Though it does make sense to have the race weekend feature and multiplayer bundled together. Not enough players will play the single player bits and Kunos won't get the telemetry they will need. Oh well.

Where does it say anything about multiplayer?

The next milestone after COTA/Race Weekend on the road map is Multiplayer. To me this sounds like they are rolling two milestones into one.

It would be awesome but I don't think so.
They are late, everything will arrive later than expected.

same, i don't care too much about MP.. maybe after I get a good feel for SP i might check it out, but I would rather play Iracing for MP (and as crazy as it might sound, most of my iracing time is in SP). i find MP racing a bit stressful as you often have to deal with bad drivers.

personally, i think most people are not that interested in MP, rather the SP / career / open world experience.. either way all good things are coming despite them likely prioritizing MP. :steamhappy:

What about sharing it on steam where the game is actually sold ?

You're reading it on steam

You are deliberately missing the point. But if you like stating the obvious, whatever floats your boat.

I don't think so. You said "what about sharing it on steam" and it was shared on steam.

If you had a different point maybe state that point - but there's no point posting in bad faith because I'll treat the post for what it says and ignore the bad faith. The easiest thing to do is to be honest and straightforward in what you want to say.

All the game updates will be on steam with details - changelog etc. Any official announcements (e.g the launch videos and the video of the 2 cars + track added in the last content update) will be on steam. The roadmap is on steam (and so far has been updated)

Everything that matters about the game is on steam (and lots of things that don't matter too)

The devs listen and take feedback, that's all that matters. they don't need to post here--it would be nice, but if i were them, I wouldn't either. it's a dumpster of a forum, every other thread is a whine fest. they'll just be attacked and harassed by the narrowminded entitled crowd.
take your time , because this game will be the best simulation game ever.I love the early access already.
so long as they fix the terrible FFB.
