No. If you don't want serious answers, go find an echo chamber. Let EA run its course.
But that is in the future. Version 1.0 is many months away still.
And what do you mean with 'early access crap'? The game is in Early Access. It is. Still. In. Early. Early Access.
You also run the risk of alienating potential licensing partners if you allow a ton of free things. Some brands are very protective of their intellectual property and really don't like it when people try and get around licensing it.
Even though updates are fairly infrequent, they have a tendency to break mods. Sometimes its easy to fix, but again, this could sour players to the game if they have to wait for their favourite mods to be repaired. And maybe the dev never gets around to it and that puts people off. With the number of straight up whiners already chatting about the game, I don't find it difficult to imagine how much whining there would be when the latest update breaks another mod.
sorry to break it to you, but this game is just not gonna be as big as original AC. Not betting anything here, but I'm more than sure especially since so many people already left. Kunos are gonna have to work days and nights to optimize this title properly and release all the promised content if they do want to win over their original game
Must be nice to be able to see in the future.
This exactly, which will make some of the Assetto Corsa players go more mad than they already are with this title. Luckily for them, Assetto Corsa will not disappear.
