That said, gaming laptops can be pretty wonky, so no guarantee on that.
The biggest difference is i have 4gb extra vram, but ive heard 8gb (your 4070) is mostly fine.
4070 is enough for now to play the most of now vr games for long
My rig:
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-14700K
RAM: 32.0 GB
GPU processor: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti
I will play it on Oculus 3 with OpenXR which was great so far for iRacing but ACC is more VRAM consuming so I wonder how will EVO perform in VR.
Same GPU as myself, I should imagine you will be fine. Avoid Meta Link if you can as this uses 1.5-2GB of VRAM by itself, I recommend Virtual Desktop but if not check out oculus killer.
From testing with and without it, give it a test yourself and you will see.
There is no difference between a cable and decent WiFi for the Q3, it all has to be encoded and decoded anyway.
Well...I assumed it will not be that great but idk what to say...I got a whole 1 FPS :D
And I even overclocked a GPU a little.
So sad right now! ;(
I'm avoiding it after reading the reviews...
