I was a forza fanboy like BRAN but i came very late into the franchise for the last bit of FH4, FH5 & FM 23 after Gran Turismo series, AC , ACC, AMS2 Project Cars series i wanted to see what the fanboys of xbox was raving on about , so i decided to give forza ago

Both communities say the 2 latest editions focused too much on RT Graphics than game play and they are the worst of the series. <- FACT

everytime i come back to do monthly FOMO for FM after coming from Iracing LMU, ACC AMS2 AC, DIRT 2, WRC, F124... the Handling and physics is dogsh#t, and i always remember i had to get use to its unnatural artificial handling .... as 99% of driving sims dont feel & Drive that way its like arcadey Designed for Controller and mapped to Steering wheel..... Its really something special LMAO
if you play on Say a logitech or thrustmasters entry levels you will only feel the ass end of the un natural handling and it wont be perceived as unnatural as you lost about 90% of detail there ... its when your in the mid range and above the flaws are revealed

by that point i would say in the realms of arcadey games ... as much backlash the arcadey F124 has got the 2 cars in it outperform the arcadey 600+ cars in FM Due to how the player is connected when driving it (On Sim rigs Not talking Controllers... )

FM artificial handling effects FFB for steering wheels... its floaty as hell and drives like a boat lol like QUALITY VS QUANTITY and as bad as EA anti cheat goes & Assing around with Physics and handling F1 24 still destroyed FM in sales 5 x over both have RT not that it matters still making less money in sales than it cost to produce it.... which in the Buisness world thats not very good buisness practice.

I completed the game to go play iracing
That was Forza Motorsports in a NUTSHELL & Where it stands today...
The Devs are clueless and have odd buisness practices that i cant support

So if you were thinking of buying it Due to Brans comment
"FM is the best looking and performing CARSim out there"

BUY IT, TEST IT .... for 2 hrs and make a choice to refund or to keep

RT is definitely not something that's needed, ever. The way the game plays is MUCH more important than some extra eye candy that doesn't add anything of value to the game play. Too many game devs focus on graphics and leave so many underlying issues that never get fixed (Forza motorsport is a prime example).

In retrospect was CYBERPUNK 2077 RAY TRACING soo ground breaking it was Worth $2000 to view the RT Tech demo or are RT Fanboys The rich kids club that demands this feature in all games to justify the price of their gear Even though Just like HDR can be poorly implemented or implemented perfectly from Dev team to Dev team?

In Forzas case The xbox is doing it for less than a $1000 and on PC $3300 4090 is basically doing it at console 60 fps

I get 4k 240hz HDR gsync freesync is worth every penny

So...PAWNSTAR, DLSS4 is here. And YES, RT/PT is groundbreaking. You can kick and scream all you want.
NVIDIA just announced "Pathtracing" in 4k at 240Hz/FPS HDR using DLSS 4 (RTX5000), and major fps improvements for the RTX4000 series.

There will be a point in Time where Raytracing/Path tracing Halves your Performance , you use DLSS or frame Gen to bring it back to acceptable experience which adds anomalies & destroyed Image Quality in the process.... just for shadows lighting and reflection (Not that you have enough time to appreciate it in a Racing Game in the first place)

RT is of course, absolutely unnecessary. And so are any kind of useless details next to the track, or even hi-res textures. What real e sport fan needs is frames, therefore I pledge for textures-free racing games, reduced to the bare minimum, just polygones.
